Welcome to Burney Jr. Sr. High School, “Home of the Raiders”.  Burney Jr. Sr. High School is a premier, comprehensive, public junior-senior high school in the North State that provides a challenging and rigorous academic curriculum to prepare students for the future. Whether a student is interested in going to college, entering the armed forces, the work force, or a Career & Technical Education program; Burney Jr. Sr. High School will prepare them for whatever they desire to pursue after high school.  Students at Burney Jr. Sr. High School have an excellent opportunity to become very involved and take advantage of a number of clubs, athletics, and activities on campus.  Burney Jr. Sr. High School offers many extra and co-curricular activities such as student council, band, and choir.  Burney Jr. Sr. High School has developed a college & career program and students receive exposure to colleges, universities, and businesses through field trips and visitations. Burney Jr. Sr. High School offers a complete athletic program and competes athletically at the high school level in the Northern California 8-Man Football League, the 5-Star League, and the Shasta Cascade League.  Junior High students compete in the regional Junior High Athletic League.  It is my goal as principal of Burney Jr. Sr. High School that all graduates will be able to compete locally and globally and become productive members of society.  I am very proud to enter my 14th consecutive year as principal and look forward to another great school year.
