Costumed Raiders stopped by the Mt. Burney Center to trick-or-treat and share some smiles with our younger Raiders! 💚💛

The “Elementary Aide” elective gives our upperclassmen the opportunity to spend a class period each day supporting our Junior Raiders and teachers at Burney Elementary.
Today, several of our students stepped in to help young readers during their theatre elective—and it was awesome! This program builds connections between our campuses and creates meaningful mentoring moments that make a real difference. 💚💛

Our newest class, Heavy Equipment Operations, is officially up and running and we couldn’t be more excited! Under the direction of Mr. Justin Croman, students are learning to operate real machinery, understand safety protocols, and gain hands-on experience that translates directly into real-world careers. It’s hands-on learning at its best!
We’re proud to keep expanding opportunities for our students through Career Technical Education (CTE). From Business to Industrial Arts to Agriculture pathways, our Raiders are preparing for the future in powerful ways.

Help us spread the word! Burney High is a great place to teach, grow, and be part of an incredible community. 💚💛

This is a family-style dinner, and one meal ticket serves four people. Dinner includes: BBQ Pulled Pork; Coleslaw; Chili Beans; Bacon Green Beans; Buns; and Chocolates. Meals are presale only, so please purchase your tickets by Halloween. Tickets are available through any Burney FFA member. If you don’t know a member personally, feel free to reach out, our students are happy to come to you! You can also buy tickets directly from Mrs. Rose or Mr. Croman, though we encourage purchasing from students so they can gain experience speaking in a more formal setting.
Thank you all for your continued support of our program. We may be new, but your warm welcome means the world to us, and we’re thrilled about what the future holds!

Fall Fling Fun at the junior high dance last Friday night!

Congratulations to the Burney Lions Club October Students of the Month: Liam von Schalsha and Kaidence Shumaker!
Liam is the senior awardee this month. Liam always has a smile on his face; he works very hard in his classes and is currently ranked #1 in his class for his GPA. He is also a great teammate and leader on his athletic teams. He often volunteers for many community events, and always does so willingly.
Kaidence is the eighth grade awardee this month. Kaidence is an excellent student. She is polite, kind, and always strives for excellence. Kaidence always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
Well done, Liam and Kaidence! We're proud to call you Raiders!
