Elementary Aide Spotlight! 🌟

The “Elementary Aide” elective gives our upperclassmen the opportunity to spend a class period each day supporting our Junior Raiders and teachers at Burney Elementary.

Today, several of our students stepped in to help young readers during their theatre elective—and it was awesome! This program builds connections between our campuses and creates meaningful mentoring moments that make a real difference. 💚💛

🚜 Big things are happening at Burney High!

Our newest class, Heavy Equipment Operations, is officially up and running and we couldn’t be more excited! Under the direction of Mr. Justin Croman, students are learning to operate real machinery, understand safety protocols, and gain hands-on experience that translates directly into real-world careers. It’s hands-on learning at its best!

We’re proud to keep expanding opportunities for our students through Career Technical Education (CTE). From Business to Industrial Arts to Agriculture pathways, our Raiders are preparing for the future in powerful ways.

Burney FFA is excited to announce our first-ever drive-through dinner fundraiser! The goal of this event is to help students raise money for free or discounted FFA jackets. If we raise enough funds, we also hope to support student participation in leadership and career development events.

This is a family-style dinner, and one meal ticket serves four people. Dinner includes: BBQ Pulled Pork; Coleslaw; Chili Beans; Bacon Green Beans; Buns; and Chocolates. Meals are presale only, so please purchase your tickets by Halloween. Tickets are available through any Burney FFA member. If you don’t know a member personally, feel free to reach out, our students are happy to come to you! You can also buy tickets directly from Mrs. Rose or Mr. Croman, though we encourage purchasing from students so they can gain experience speaking in a more formal setting.

Thank you all for your continued support of our program. We may be new, but your warm welcome means the world to us, and we’re thrilled about what the future holds!
