Burney Jr-Sr High School is looking for a caring and motivated paraprofessional to join our Special Education team. This position is a great opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives every day by helping them grow, learn, and succeed. Our school offers a supportive, team-oriented environment with a small-school feel where relationships come first. Working as a Special Education paraprofessional is both meaningful and rewarding as you see students reach their goals while growing your own skills along the way. Saturday School will be offered the second and fourth Saturdays at BHS from 8:00 - 12:00 noon. This is an opportunity students can use as a time to catch up on work on which they may be behind. The first Saturday School at BHS commences on October 11.

Students or parents must notify the school office by 3:00 pm on Thursday that they will be attending Saturday School. Students must bring their school work to complete; enough to cover the entire time.

There will be a Grab-and-go breakfast available. Lunch is not provided.

Saturday School may be used by students to make up their absences. The time spent at Saturday School, or four full hours of Homework Club, can offset a day of absence including unexcused absences that placed students on the NOPE List.

Continuation students may attend. Students from Burney may attend Saturday school at Fall River and visa versa. (It will be offered the first and third Saturday at FRHS.)
