Burney families will enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal this year thanks to BHS's Community Connect program. 🦃💛

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to fill 16 complete Food Boxes for families in our community who truly needed the support this holiday season. Your kindness lifted a real burden and gave our families the chance to focus on joy, connection, and time together.

A heartfelt thank-you to our local partners, especially Burney Safeway, Grocery Outlet, and Hovis Ace Hardware for stepping up for our students and families. Our community is stronger because of businesses like you. 💚💛

Our 9th graders are headed to Ignite Opportunity, a regional STEM Career Day that brings together colleges, industry professionals, and local businesses from across the North State. Since 2014, this event has opened doors for students from nine rural counties—helping them discover new interests and imagine their futures.

Our freshmen will spend Friday the 21st:
✨ Hearing from inspiring STEM professionals
✨ Learning about real education and career pathways
✨ Connecting with college students and industry experts
✨ Tackling a hands-on STEM challenge
✨ Exploring tools to plan for high school, college, and beyond

Such an awesome opportunity for our students to start thinking about future careers and get excited about what’s possible!

🌿💐 BHS Floral Spotlight! 💐🌿

Our Floral students are blooming with talent! Recently they traveled to Cal Expo for a student design competition at the California State Floral Association Conference—an incredible opportunity to showcase their skills and learn from industry experts.

Last week, on campus, they put their creativity to work crafting candy bouquets for our senior athletes, spreading sweetness and school spirit throughout campus.

We love watching their passion grow—one beautiful design at a time! 🌸

Elementary Aide Spotlight! 🌟

The “Elementary Aide” elective gives our upperclassmen the opportunity to spend a class period each day supporting our Junior Raiders and teachers at Burney Elementary.

Today, several of our students stepped in to help young readers during their theatre elective—and it was awesome! This program builds connections between our campuses and creates meaningful mentoring moments that make a real difference. 💚💛
